This was taken today (Tuesday) at Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
The Severn Valley Railway.
The age of steam still lives.

The colours are great and I only wish I can eventually be this good with practice.
I haven't seen one of these before and could not find a reference to it. He sure looks mean
Thank you for sharing.

I think that residents of Worcestershire might dispute the home of Perry.
So will residents of Kent dispute they are the main county of hops, they're not, Herefordshire now is.
So will residents of Somerset dispute they are the home of cider, they're not, again Herefordshire is and probabley always will be.
Did I say I live in Herefordshire?
I consider Herefordshire as being a little bit of paradise in Britain.
Come and visit the Wye valley, Hereford the birth place of Nell Gwynne and Frank Oz. Other famous Herefordians include actor David Garrick (1717-1779), actress Beryl Reid (1920-1996), Mott the Hoople, The Pretenders (except Chissy Hyne) and many more including myself. The home of the world famous Hereford cattle but be careful..... it's also the home of the S.A.S.

Can I ask where were these photos actually taken?
Hay on Wey's bookshops will be on the list, after hiking in your parks!
The Brecon National Park is a great place to visit, waterfalls, caves, mountains, etc... with a stop off at Hay-on-Wye and Hereford of course
I can recommend the area but bring an OS map as many hidden photographical gems are not on a road map and many are only accessible by foot.
See my examples below (link) and so much more.

One last question while I'm at it: is there anything in particular of which I should take precautions while walking in the English country sides (wolves, Ice bears, lions, letal spiders, human beings ?)
Just be aware of speed limits on our roads as Britain is littered with speed cameras. There are many sharp bends on the moor's roads so be careful and have a safe holiday.
ps, Don't forget the camera and plenty of SD cards and batteries because we'll want to see those photos.
