Recent trip to Salford to see the "Glow" display at RHS Bridgewater. Well worth it, though finding the best camera settings was not easy! Could have done with a tripod, but it would have been a bit anti-social in present company. A selection of the best follows (which in effect is those with least noise.) K3 + DA 16-85. All comments welcome.

Lovely! I really like the Autumn Canopy for the detail, the colours and the overall sharpness. 2 and 3 are lovely and clear; and 4 is intriguing! It should be upside down (I think!), but it isn’t. Either way, it’s a fascinating photo!

Awesome lighting, expertly controlled for such lovely and inviting photos.
Thanks for such a lovely comment, though I have to admit that I was not responsible for the light!

Thanks for all the lovely comments, folks! This is a set that I was really pleased with myself - and I'm very tempted to follow my A4 framed prints with a couple of larger ones.

Thanks, Gareth - it was precisely the light that was so attractive - glad I was able to catch it effectively!

Really, really nice shots. What village is that in number 3? Looks familiar.
It’s Slaithwaite (or Slawit to the locals) in the Colne Valley, between Linthwaite and Marsden. Does that ring a bell for you?

A recent lovely day (not many since!), a walk along the canal and very taken by all the reflections on the water, hence the topic title! I'd be interested to see reaction to the last one, particularly! (It is the right way up, believe me!) K3 + DA 16-85mm. All thoughts welcome!

Thanks, John. Don't get too many days like these - and a case of right place, right time!
