Portraits of gannets - and no, there wasn't a great variety of species to be shot (photographically speaking, of course!)

Great for binoculars, even better with a telescope, but not the easiest with a camera I've always found. I'm happy with these though, starting off with a neighbourly argument! K3 + DA* 50-135 + 1.4 rear converter (and still a fair amount of cropping!)

A lovely flower to photograph. The last one tops them all for me.

The edge of the woodland gets higher and drier underfoot and the bluebells no longer thrive there. However, simple (daft?) as it may sound, I was really struck by the different stages of developing foliage and couldn't resist a few shots of this very simple but impressive act of nature.

Had more or less given them a miss this year until Lennybloke posted a lovely set. I hadn't seen any up to that point, so was really pleased when I headed for some local woodland and found a good spot! K70 + DA 18-135mm. Hope you like these!

A lovely set of bluebell photos, no matter how you have felt in the past!

Probably not what most would choose to photograph in gardens such as Harlow Carr - but none the worse for that! Interesting, different and finally beautifully colourful. Very good!

Top notch! I've taken photos in Berwick umpteen times over the years, but I've never got anything to match this set, Great stuff!
