Nice studies, particularly the last one, with a lovely complementary bokeh backdrop.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

The last one for me, too - striking and beautiful . The first one almost does it for me as well, but I'd like to see more of the stems 'cos to me long stems are part of what an iris is all about (except for the dwarf varieties of course ).

#4 for me with the diffused bg, closely followed by #2 but the blade of grass just spoilt it imo
