Not had a Pentax Fail but I've only had Weathersealed ones!
My Canon 5DMKII Used to pack in in mist, fog and any type of rain.
Quite the worst camera I have ever owned on a lot of fronts!

Couple of internal condensation problems with D700's...
My mates Fuji Xe-2 has just fried itself (What he gets for going out photographing with me in my home patch!)
Which is a shame as I was actually thinking of buying one but not anymore!
I go out in most conditions, I do not want to worry about the camera, with Pentax I don't, with everything else I did...

There will be no more compact cameras branded as Pentax.

In a recent press mailing (5th Feb 2014), Amber Renard, Public Relations Manager for Ricoh Imaging Americas, stated, "As you will note, the WG-4 and WG-20 series are the first [compact cameras] to bear the Ricoh name. As such, I wanted to take this opportunity to reiterate our commitment to the historical PENTAX brand. The PENTAX name will continue to appear on all of our interchangeable lens cameras (ILC), lenses and sport optics, while the Ricoh name will be reserved for our compact cameras."

It's what comes of having too much time on my hands due to all my damn ailments!
I end up surfing and I just keep on finding this stuff, drives me nut too as I've got bugger all money, and with said ailments very little prospect of earning any either unless I can fool some folks into buying a few of my pictures, which I need to get much better at!

I think I've Seen some of your shots Smeggy and that's what makes me want it

Have to be the next but one for me, as I've promised myself the 1.4 convertor, that does not leave me enough lee-way for an extra body this year unless things pick up... a lot...

SRP: of the other versions is £499 but you can get it for £379 if you look, I expect the Pentax fitting to do the same...
