They are listening to me! Been saying for a while now that there are a good few uses for in body stabilisation and this was a biggie...

Just woke up to that one, you beat me to it K10D!
Back of the camera looks a little cramped which leads me to believe it's quite small, I think there is however a pretty clear line where your thumb will sit to avoid accidentally hitting buttons, so it might be perfectly fine? Plenty of buttons which I also like, hmm Not planning on buying another body this year but I could be tempted into this one, spec dependent of course but it could be the perfect foil to my K3...

I don't think it'll be long before the TamSig duoply wake up and realise that FF Pentaxians will have a genuine need for a 150-600mm lens..

MTF's, look pretty damn good, not the whole story I know but very promising, the 150-450mm, shows the benefits of going for a three times zoom instead of stretching it out further, sound move...

From ASAHI MAN...

HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450 mm F/4,5~5,6 ED DC AW available March 2015 für 2.199,- €

Internal AF System comlete new.

End of year Mike, eh, looks really nice but not for me, lens prices as predicted and about right as long as the performance is there, no mention of the new APSC and collapsable zoom that were shown at CES, I wonder if they will release those at CP+?
It looks a little like a scaled down 6x7, which is no bad thing? One thing, it shows good commitment on Ricoh's behalf to sink that much into Pentax, very good as long as it does not cripple my beloved K's or the 645 line, they will have to tread carefully there, it's not a position any other company is really in, fingers in all the pies but at least it looks like they are prepared to stay around, long term for which we should all be thankful...
Could be a good year, I may actually end up having to spend nothing at all, cheers Ricoh!

Alternatively, all ye second hand APSC Lenses come unto me!

There will be some spontaneous human combustion going on over the pond...

With you there Richard, I'd like to see a split line for K3 update, a high Mp backlit sensor (If it really does offer improvements, and the Sony ones are coming...), for the likes of myself and a lower Mp one, oh lets say, the magic 16Mp But brought up to date with all the latest anti noise snake oil for sports shooters, erm for the likes of myself...

Honestly I don't always just think of myself...

We'll be in competition then Bill!

Youre right there I Guess, unless they make it for FF customers only!
