And a little about that cute collapsible zoom...
Plastic mount which is a shame (Dunno but I just don't trust a metal to plastic interface, I know I know...) but it's got some interesting glass in it...
Green ring but HD, now I'm confused...:

Shame about that meter, I'd heard they were going to use a dumbed down RGB.

Yes but the in camera solution was heavily protected... Until now.

All at F5.6-8, 100 ISO and in the middle of the zoom range, safe as...
As you say Mike, thats Pentax for you...
Says a lot more about the KS2 than the lens I'd say...

Couldnt be implemented by Pentax or anyone else until Hasselblads Patent ran out on them, and it was quite a broad spectrum patent. As soon as that was up Olympus pounced on it, Pentax it seems second but first with so called "FF".
I'd like to see it in a firmware upgrade fro the K3, since it has the required control over the sensor movement but maybe not the pixel crunching grunt in the memory dep't? Unless replaced at CP+ , which is a good half a year early, I suspect that the K3 may be top of the APSC tree for a bit yet, not much need to upgrade it as there really is not much competition for it
