9 new Lenses, is a fair chunk, seems the beast has awoke! Hope they don't forget all about us poor APSC folks, like Nikon did!
Having just seen the prices of the new Canon DSLR and lens, I think the Pentax is sounding cheap!

Too much for me, however much I salivate over it but no more expensive than the CaNikSon ones, all sounds very nice but I'm limiting myself to spending around £1200 on gear every year which means a new APSC body or a couple of reasonable seconhand lenses, I just can't justify anything as grand as this!
3 stage focus limiter, sounds good, looking at the markings in the lens focus window, I don't think it has that short a throw which might be a bit of a pain but the limiter would speed things up a treat anyway?
It'll not matter because the new body will come with clairvoyant focus, and will know where the subject is before it arrives!

A 70-200mm f/2.8 is a standard weapon of choice for thousands out there. It actually works very well on APS-C and even better on FF. I smiled at the "me too" comment.
This is really simple, for those that don't want a Pentax FF DSLR or a Pentax 70-200mm f/2.8, don't buy them.
Time will tell and if a FF is announced at CP+ then it is no bad thing. Even better if a new "kit" lens is also announced with it (just to keep Algi happy).
Best regards
The american forum should soon be flooded with el cheapo APSC Pentax and "FF" CaNikSon, win win...

"At CES it was a 90% ready lens.
The big zoom is ready like the 70-200.
The Fullframe SLR has a classic body, little bit like K-3 Style, but different.
Only a couple of people has seen the first pictures this week,Pentax will show more for public at CP+.
Camera could be available in Summer/little later, maybe autumn.
So,this year i get confirmed my last informations i given here,70-200,1x0-4x0 and fullframe body slr type!
It looks like that Pentax is using the CP+ for fullframe.
Like the last was made for 645Z
*lens is of course SDM.
Best regards"
So let the moaning commence! (Kidding!)

Both apparantly HD and both with green rings, now I'm confused???
Interesting tidbit from Asahiman over on Dpreview

I have never found colour cast issues with the Cokin P system, so I'd be happy to recommend it for a good value ND grad and CP solution. Not sure if you'll get big enough for the ultra-wide with Cokin though ....
In my most recent landscape experience with the 14mm Samyang (which can't take filters) I have found I manage fine with a software polariser effect (Sagelight 4.0) and shooting exposures for sky and ground to be blended in Photoshop. But I accept for longer focal lengths that glass filters would offer a high quality solution.
The issue with polarisers at very wide angles is uneven brightness across a big sky which is very tricky to balance in processing. I find my software filter effect very easy and precisely adjustable.
Don't get me wrong Stub, It's still one to take with you as it has a myriad of uses that don't include super wide angle. I have two kits one is a set of 77mm screw ins for when I'm going light which is most of the time, which means i'm likely to be summiting something big! It comprises a one stop/two stop, Soft ND Grad (The three stop is too severe and shows up in PP because you can't adjust the position of the three stop part of the filter). Polariizer, 10 stop ND (Which I find too much for general use, and I will replace it with a four or six stop when I remember!:blush. And finally an FLW for sunsets and some sepping rings and a 77mm Lens cap so I can leave the filters on whatever lens I'm using for the day, for casual use this all works perfectly well it only falls down with the screw in Soft grads simply becasue invariably the sun comes into play (Yes there sometimes is sun in Cumbria :shock and you can't adjust the filter effect to balance the exposure properly, for that I have a set of 100mm Soft grads and a six stop ND which itself is still maybe too much and I may again get a four for general use, currrently I'm using the Kood ones you mentioned, they do have a slightly warm cast (Magenta) but I kinda like it, Lee has no cast but a decent set of Lee filters will cost you the same as a new camera body! The hi-tec ones have a cooler cast and are in the middle price wise
I'll stick my neck out here and say if your only going to do occassional Landscape photography get a set of screw ins from SRB Griturn, they are all around twenty quid apeice, fit in a little wallet which you can also get from them and folds up to nothing! The upside is easy to carry and pretty much zero ignettng as long as you specify the narrow filter rings, and not a massivr investment.
If you are going to do more and long term want the adaptability and the superior effectivness of the square system then buy a 100mm set up, more expensive yes but you will have zero vignetting and the ability to control the light and dark parts of the filters better.
Downsides are cost as I said earlier and that it's cumbersome and takes up a suprising amount of space in the kit bag. Also square filters are more time consuming to use, though this can be a plus as well. If you don't mind taking your time the square set up is definitely more rewarding and overall better quality but don't discount the screw ins they are small, light, easy to use, and inexpensive, Just remember their limitations...

- "QFS / A" autofocus priority. "QFS / M" manual focus priority

- Over-the-counter expected price is 275,000 yen (including tax)
150-450mm, there are AF button of four locations in the lens barrel, for example, can be carried out focus preset or Cancel AF, I seem to have become quite versatile lens. It is not a star lens, but because it is dust and water specifications, it is likely to be handled without problems in shooting in harsh environment. Price, it is going to be to the same extent as the first price of 80-400mm and Canon 100-400mm of Nikon.
Notice the mistakes!
