Unlocker, I would love 2 bodies but Cash is the problem! Can't afford to buy another K5 until I get my Sorry Arthritic broken backed asthmatic apology of a body back into a job! Sorry digressing Like I say my choice is keep the K7 that I have trouble liking (Sensor is the only deal here!) Or get the Kr, which I can actually see uses for if I want to go real light, since it frequently causes me lots of pain if I carry a backpack too far My thinking is that I know I can get on with Sony Sensors since I've had a few, owning several Nikon Bodies and a couple of Sony's too. (Kr is still the Sony Sensor but updated right?) Second bodies with me tend to get set how I like and generally left with a Lens on a bit longer or shorter than the one I'm using just in case something presents itself. Stefan I think I'd be okay with one weather sealed Body but your comments on the ergonomics and such are moot to me...
Thanks for all the advice, I'm still finding my feet with Pentax (Bought a couple of Lenses I'm finding it hard to get on with too!) and want to do whats right for me and I know that only I can know that but I do like to throw ideas around and it's great to bounce them off others, something that required Flameproof clothing on the Nikon and Sony Sites I used to frequent...

Yeah I'm thinking Kr as soon as they become available as a Body Only in the U.K. I think the Control Layout is Similar enough with obviously a few bits buried in Menu's as all the Manufacturers do! (Can't have all the toys in the Lower end stuff or they'd never sell any of it!)
Battery commonality did bother me a bit but I reckon I'll just get the AA holder for it, and I see the Kr won't use the Sensor shift to align the horizon (My mates who are all still Nikon Shooters marvel at that!) other than that is there anything glaring that you guys think I would miss from my K7 Before it gets sold down the river?

I have another conundrum thread on the go in the lens Section, so then...
I now have a K5 and a K7 (Haven't actually used the 5 yet!)
Coming from Nikon I've had a hard time dealing with the Sensor in the k7 (Samsung?) Hellacious noise in shadows, I actually sent one off to Johnsons Photopia to have it calibrated and whilst it was away bought another! (Compared on it's return only to find out that they were the same!)Not very forgiving on the Sensor front and you really have to nail the exposure but i also found the Dynamic Range to be a bit more lacking than previous Camera's I had used. (Not by much but it's there!)
The K5 Sensor (Sony) Appears much more what I am used to, i love the ergonomics etc of the K7 and of course have them again in the K5. ilike to use primes and like to have two bodies for this. (so finally a drum roll!) K7 or Kr for a second body:
