Stefan I looked at the 90mm F3.5 SLII for my Macro very closely and had a good look at 125mm too. They are beautiful!
Too pricey now for me as I'm all spent up and I've promised to be good. (Need a saintly Smiley here!)
I'm going to start saving for a DA*300 which I hope to get around the middle of next year. For the moment I am just looking to get a few Manual Gems in order to round out my Lens Lineup and for fun more than anything else but I have to keep a Weather eye on the costs now I'm afraid

Noo Zooms cause they make me Lazy, I spent about six months with a D300s and the 16-85 firmly bolted to it and I didn't like the Pics I was getting one bit, with Primes I seem to think a bit more, slows me down and stops me from getting into a "Snapshot" mentality. I think my Photography is improving for it, I still hate changing lenses though

It's not like that as most of us I think know. I've been at this hobby/obsession for about 25 yr's and I've actually learn't more in hanging around here in the last four months or so than at any other time in those 25 yr's. Coming from those 25 yr's of Canon and Nikon use back into Pentax was quite daunting and my first impressions of my K7 were dissapointing to say the least but with this Forums help and a little perseverence i have learnt how to extract better results. i have always shot RAW and have no idea what Jpegs look like from my K7 to be honest, maybe my feelings would be different about the Camera if i was a Jpeg shooter... I don't know...

Rounding out my kit at the moment and I am looking at the possibility of something between my Newly aquired Tamron 90mm Macro and my 2OOmm DA*. I remember there are quite a few Lenses from Pentax in this range but are there any optical Gems/any that stand out from the rest???

I too had my fare share of problems with the K7 when I first got it three months ago, you may remember I bought two and returned one and bought a K5 because I thought it to be soo bad! After a while however you learn the Sensor so to speak, and given a bit of time it will reward you. You have to expose Bang on there's not too much forgivness here but it's worth learning...
