135mm is the most common in the range.
You've f/2.8 and f/3.5 I believe.
I'm no expert and don't know the lenses so hopefully some one else can help you more.

The M 135mm f3.5 is well regarded and cheap. I like it, but not wide open. Haven't read anything that positive about the f2.8 version, although the K f2.5 is sought after (expensive!)
Would be more tempted to get a zoom to complement you two long primes, though.

I used to have the 6 element S-M-C Takumar 135mm f2.5 (M42 mount) which was optically fantastic. Flippin' heavy though, so I eventually sold it as I wasn't taking it out often enough.
The Pentax-K 135mm is supposed to be awesome. Kris (Womble) has one.
Pentacon 135mm (M42) has a pretty good reputation. There's a 15 blade version known as the bokehmonster. I've had one of these as well, sold it because I had the Takumar.
At the cheaper end of the scale you would be looking at Pentax-M 135mm, and Takumar (Bayonet) 135mm. Both pretty good, and should be available for under £50 each.

Noo Zooms cause they make me Lazy, I spent about six months with a D300s and the 16-85 firmly bolted to it and I didn't like the Pics I was getting one bit, with Primes I seem to think a bit more, slows me down and stops me from getting into a "Snapshot" mentality. I think my Photography is improving for it, I still hate changing lenses though

Look for the K or M 135mm f3.5, both are decent lenses and the M is relatively plentiful.
There's also an M 100mm f2.8 which has great reviews and unfortunately prices to match - I'd love to get hold of one but £100+ for an old lens is silly money IMO.

I know you said Pentax but what about the Voigtlander SL 125mm f/2.5 APO-Lanthar?

The lens is discontinued but the new price was around 600/US$, I think you probably end up paying that now for secondhand though.

Stefan I looked at the 90mm F3.5 SLII for my Macro very closely and had a good look at 125mm too. They are beautiful!
Too pricey now for me as I'm all spent up and I've promised to be good. (Need a saintly Smiley here!)
I'm going to start saving for a DA*300 which I hope to get around the middle of next year. For the moment I am just looking to get a few Manual Gems in order to round out my Lens Lineup and for fun more than anything else but I have to keep a Weather eye on the costs now I'm afraid

Jules,
A 135mm is always a worthy lens to have in your kit bag, even during the film era.
However, like all Pentax manual lenses, prices are going up on the second hand market as people are realising the abilities of lenses from the past.
Best to look at Bojidars website to see what was made and then go to a second hand dealer or fleabay to see what is available

The F3.5 is popular as it was the one that sold the most. However there are those who prefer the F2.8 or even the much maligned F2.5 takumar (I have one and love it! )
Still it gives you a good idea what is out there.
You may be lucky with the price too.
Actiually if you are near Manchester, there is a place that sells classic gear (I won't call them secondhand) for reasonable prices and I am sure at last look had a number of 135mm lenses available.
They are called the Real Camera Company.

I was browsing a manual focus lens forum recently while looking for sample images from an Auto-Takumar 55mm f2 (just after bagging one on ebay) and came across a comment that while many manufacturers had offered 135mm lenses there were at the same time almost no stinkers out there. The M 135mm f3.5 is a cracker though and not too expensive - you could buy that lens with its known capability to produce superb results or two or three cheapies of uncertain quality.

The SMC "K" 135mm f/2.5 is a beautiful lens. I (very informally) tested it against my DA* 50-135 and could barely tell the difference apart from the camera choosing a utterly different white balance (easily changed in Lightroom).
The SMC-M 100mm f/2.8 lens is also very lovely indeed, and unlike the K135 very small and compact (and much lighter than my K50 f/1.2). It is, however, too close in focal length to your 90mm lens. I use mine as a macro lens with extension tubes!
I went out yesterday with just a film camera and primes and I think the M100 got the most use.

K 135 seems like a nice Lens, Size and weight are considerations too.
