Again nothing too serious, just starting to Re-learn the K5 and I think I'm going to enjoy myself!

Fairly muted for a Sunset this time of year but dramatic nonetheless, I couldn't wait for the full sunset as I'd miss the last bus home!

I give up!
Good luck with the Sale, your about ten days too late or it would now be gone!
Trying mine out with the K5, I'd say if there is any way you can keep it, do. K5 seems to have a little more alacrity about it's focus compared to previous bodies and tjis Lens goes really well with it, alas I know the object that Money is...
Again good luck,
someone is going to be very very happy...

I really like the look of that but I already have the Black one,
Didn't the previous K5 Silver Edition have a different grip plus
hardened screens?
It's hard to tell if this one is the same or not?
In that lightning the Silver Paint job looks a bit cheesy?
Anyone got he previous one so we can compare?

This means that Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy do exist because we haven't published a white paper

If Jules you are alluding to the fact that Flash Gordon is about to land his rocket ship on a cunningly disguised
and allegedly disused airfield then I am afraid the "men in Black will be calling round to invite you to take "a wee holiday". :

But I think more people will be aware of the K-01 than the new models from Nikon and Canon. It's all over the web and press and all over the lifestyle and outdoor magazines. Even architecture and design magazines are talking about it.

I don't know, but I suspect pentax will happily sell whatever their production target has been.
I think your bang on there John, they have actually advertised this one quite effectively, the design being the key, love it or hate it, it's been noticed! Maybe they will now do the same advertising wise from now on, nobody buys em if they don't know about them...

I don't care how many abandoned Airfields they try to sneak these offworlders in and out by, there is a conspiracy I tell ya!

Nothing serious, saw this on my way home on one of my Bike rides the other day, and the Flash Gorden shaped Rocket cloud made me chuckle...
Taken at the old Thurstonfield RAF Station near the Solway Coast...

Ok Edward your decision is made, read point 2 of the first section thouroughly though:

If you still must, here's a test:
http://www.lenstip.com/113.1-article-UV_filters_test.html

Hoya Pro 1's are ok by the way, nice and slim and fit on the WA Lenses without vignetting, solidly made and high grade glass...
