Love the mood, John. Well captured!
Light is improving here as well. Now I can enjoy the sun both before and after working hours. Today is 4 h 48m longer than at winter solstice, and it's just a couple of weeks till spring equinox.
Must be getting old, but I have decided to really enjoy the coming spring, with or without my K100D.
Do you have to be old to enjoy spring? -- I seem to remember a time many many years ago when a younger me really appreciated spring and the young women that seemed to be bustling once again with the joy of life - of course these days I only have eyes for my K10D

I posted the pics here instead of in the "Your photos" section as I count them as 'test shots' rather than 'keepers' (though I keep the pics of my dog because of the personal/emotional/affectionate meaning to me). I thought others might like to see examples of the lens performance - hence the choice of this section.

By the way: I'm not aware if there is a picture size policy in place - if I have violated one please put it down as ignorance and let me know (about the violation...not the ignorance )
All pictures converted from RAW to jpeg and no other post processing. Shot hand held with no hood.

I'm rather pleased with the purchase since the market for used Pentax equipment in Denmark isn't huge to say the least and I do appreciate the fact that I was able to see and try the lens beforehand.
You're right: the lens is no lightweight - but nor am I or my K10D
I actually expected the lens to feel heavier from what I had read, but then again: I haven't lugged it around for a whole day yet!
