Dunno if it is bad taste to butt in on other users threads with your own pictures...if so I deeply apologize...just wanted to show you a nice blue sky obtained with my K10D and a P-FA 50mm f1.4 last weekend - no filters, no sharpening, no tweaking of colors...only post-processing was a cropping for better composition.

You've painted my living room pink?!
May be just my simple self, but sometimes I don't think you need much more in a pic.

I like it as an abstract, and I would think it would sit very nicely in a series of photos depicting dunes too.

I tend to agree with you - but after scouting around and trying different angles I didn't find any usable focal points. I could have let the subject slip, but I opted for a sort of abstract view with shallow depth-of-field (actually the main purpose of that day: shooting with my new f1.4 50mm-lens - testing the wide aperture).
I guess it's like painting your living room pink - it's a matter of taste whether you like at...and given the circumstances I kindda like the picture...shouldn't post it if I felt otherwise, should I?
Don't get me wrong: your critique is very wellcome...I see from your website, that I have a lot to learn from you...and that's a process I like: learning and being inspired.

In manual mode, just press the OK button and change the ISO using the front wheel.
Pressing "OK" and the green button together takes you back to auto ISO in modes other than manual
