The buyer enters a contract of sale at the time of purchase with the supplier, never mind what the price of the goods are. As long as both parties agree the price at this time of sale and no fraudulent intent was made by either party, then the sale stands. Not withstanding faulty goods etc, which is a seperate issue. Not so sure with regards to descrition of receipt however, they could give you the run around there.
I would keep the goods and not pay anymore and make a claim from Pentax for the cash back, after all its not Pentax loss, they would have had to cough up any way.

Wonderful, just married around this date and purchased my first film slr camera, a Pentax K100. As then and now the best value and constructed camera. As you say John in those days it was the most advertised marque and had a huge following.

This is really hard. If you walked 100 yards from my place, you wouldn't see very much (apart from old people, cats, and old people... and old people with cats). My photography - from an artistic point of view - is in its infancy, so I'm going to have to really rack my brains for this one. I'm determined to come up with something, even if it gets panned (which is pretty likely, actually)

Inspired theme though John, really got me thinking (and panicking!)

I have Elements 6. The easy way for me import raw files from card into Elements catalouge. Delete non keepers. Open each raw file in full edit. Apply what tweaks and settings you are happy with close file. Save as set version which also keeps original file. After editing all new images export all as jpegs if you wish to new file folder in My Pictures. You then have choice to keep all originals in Elements catalouge or delete them if you wish to free up space and you no longer wish to work on originals in future raw files. Obviously this will take time if you have many raw images. However there is a batch process option that lets you batch process all newly imported files, although this only allows you to apply the same tweaks and settings to all new images at once. Unless more experienced users could point you and I in a better direction.
Cheers

Hi Roscoe, I would be interested in 80-320 lens but would not drive this distance to collect. If you would consider paid postage I would consider. Cheers.

Sorry, can't comment on the photo frames, but do you have an LCD TV? (Some) Panasonics come with a SD card reader so you can just plug your photos into that!

There is also a way of doing it with other makes but am not sure how to, apart from having the PC plugged in next to it!

Andy
Thanks for the input Andy but do not want to display them on large screen for everyday use. just something like 10" normal table top frame size for random slide shows in background.

Hi Gang, Has anyone used or has knowledge on digital photo frames. Thinking of one for the Mrs, who will not use computer to view images. Likes them all printed to keep in albums which she looks at maybe once a year, which can get expensive. There is an old thread on this over a year ago, just wondered have they improved and are more members using them these days. Obviously my favourites and best images I will still print. Thought this could be a useful tool for displaying on mass. What is resolution and size like etc.
Cheers
