Hi Roscoe, I would be interested in 80-320 lens but would not drive this distance to collect. If you would consider paid postage I would consider. Cheers.

Hi Mongoose,
As I already have the new SMC DA 55-300mm lens, the FA 80-320mm is surplus to my needs, as is the analogue flash equipment, but as it's all in "As new condition" I thought it might appeal to someone.
Ooo now I'm jealous! the DA is certainly better than the FA for DSLRs. I didn't know you had the DA and just didn't want to see you sell a good lens and regret it later.Hi Mongoose,

If I didn't already have one, I'd buy the FA from you, it's a very fine lens for its time and price.
you don't have to be mad to post here
but it does help

Yes, because it causes problems, as the post down here is crap, it would mean using a carrier, such as CityLink, and having to purchase packaging materials, which means on going costs, and I prefer the buyer to view the equipment to fully appreciate the "as new condition"![/quote]Just use RM SD ND.Mannesty wrote:

And the cost of materials will be paid by the buyer. Restricting sales to people near Stanford-le-Hope is rather shooting yourself in the foot, I should have thought.

Yes, you'll not notice many Essex Pentax Users on here for some reason. Lots to the west of London, and the North, but Essex/Kent I think I can probably count on one hand.Restricting sales to people near Stanford-le-Hope is rather shooting yourself in the foot, I should have thought.

I'd be interested in the flash and the diffusers but I'm not spending half a day going to Stanford-le-Hope to get it!
Cheers, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

To be fair, an hour and a half each way would be three hours, which would end up as pretty much half a day.
Posting is not as onerous as you might fear. A strong box, some bubble wrap, some tape and a label and Royal Mail Special Deilvery will get the goods to their destination the next day in the UK.

Pity my poor wife then John, as she does this journey every day on top of a day spent supervising an accounts department!
I really do sympathise with such a dreadful daily work journey. I'm sure she has better things to do than waste three hours a day travelling.Pity my poor wife then John, as she does this journey every day on top of a day spent supervising an accounts department!
Twice a month I used to, until very recently, leave the house at 6am to get to Dollgellau by 08:15 - that was a tough day as I ended up in Barmouth before making my way home for another 2.5 hours....so I know what it feels like.

As John said, an hour and a half each way plus time to chat. make the transaction etc and half a day is gone. I used to commute from Southampton to London every day which was two hours each way, now I motorcycle from Herts to London which is 3/4 to 1 hour each way depending on weather and traffic. The same journey by public transport takes 1 3/4 hours despite being 1/4 of the distance from Southampton. Ugh.
Average traffic speed in central London is now slower than it was in 1880!
Best wishes, Kris.

Is Essex infested with the dreaded Nikon Bug then?
And there's Peter Elgar, and Viewfinder, and... er... hmmm... You and I are on here Dan so it's a start.

On my workshops I tend to find probably about 50% Canon, 40% Nikon, and 10% 'others'.

Perhaps Peter Roskilly, did not receive any offers, to buy his equipment?

I imagine you know this already, but I wouldn't want you to suddenly discover it after the lens was sold and kick yourself.
but it does help
