Fabulous and funny.

Definitely all gone. Thanks for looking....but check my other threads for some fab lenses!

Nice images - the MX-1 definitely punches above its (considerable?!) weight and provides some of the best IQ I've seen from any compact. Hope you enjoy using it.

Jon

35/2 now sold but 20/4, 28/3.5 and 200/4 still available.

Final thread for tonight.... some more odds and ends that need to go in the photo below:

These include:

O-ME53 eyecup magnifying loupe which gives some useful magnification and is especially useful when using MF lenses. I bought it new about 18 months ago and it is boxed and in excellent condition. Price is £15 including UK postage.

Pentax remote control F, also only around 18 months old and rarely used. Very useful when I needed it though. Boxed and in excellent condition. Price is £10 including UK postage.

Meike grip for K5/7 which is only a few months old and in excellent condition with both battery trays (the AA compartment remaining unused). I can't find the box but will keep looking. However, assume I may not succeed for now.... I've used the grip on occasion, and it performed flawlessly including at a recent fashion shoot. It's not WR or quite as durable as the original Pentax accessory, but much better than some of the other cheap Chinese clones I've seen. Price is £20 including UK postage.

Seagull ref convertor which fits lots of difference cameras and has a two times zoom feature. Boxed with everything it came with. Never used other than to give it a try when it arrived. Price is £20 including UK postage.

Vivitar extension tubes to fit PK cameras. Obviously they work fine on film bodies and work in manual mode on the dSLRs. A good cheap way to get into macro and close up photography without degrading image quality. Price £5 including postage.

Not only is it very difficult to find one of these, it'll be pretty much impossible to find one in this kind of condition. Superb example of the more recent of the two PKA versions of this lens (and this version is reputed to be a stronger performer than the original), my experience when comparing it to the DA55-300 is that (a) it's much better between 300 and 400mm , and (b) it is more consistent across the (APSC) frame than the DA lens - so it performs much better around the borders. It does exhibit more CAs than the DA lens but nothing that can't be easily dealt with in PP. This crop was taken at 400mm:

The lens comes boxed and complete with hood and caps. It also has a fitted tripod collar. Rather more compact than some of the Sigma alternatives, it's a cost effective way of getting some more reach than the consumer XX-300 lenses without spending a fortune. It is not light though, so the price reflects my expectation that postage will not be cheap! Price is £325 incl RMSD. I'd much prefer to sell within the UK if possible, as I think postage abroad will be rather expensive - but I won't rule that out if somebody is really desperate...

Following my previous couple of posts, here are some lovely examples of nice SMC Pentax M lenses. Unusually, all of them have their original cases (worn but surviving) and come with both lens caps, and one still even has its box. Going in order of focal length:

SMC Pentax 20/4 M

A lovely full frame alternative to the DA21 pancake, this is a great little lens which does wonderful things with colour. A recent example from Portugal:

These lenses do not come up terribly often, and when they do I doubt that they'd be in as good condition as this one, which has clearly been very well looked-after. No nasties either optically or cosmetically; it's in really great shape. Price is £180 including RMSD, so a very cost effective alternative to the DA Ltd - zone focus and away you go.

SMC Pentax 28/3.5 M BOXED

Another lens in great condition, although this time I can definitely see a few bits and bobs of dust inside. Nothing more than you'd expect and they haven't affected any of my images taken with the lens. A few recent examples:

This lens is a definite step up from the more common 28/2.8 and makes a nice standard length lens on an APSC sensor. Superb compact sharp bargain at £60 incl RMSD.

SMC Pentax 35/2 M

You don't see these coming up very often (the 2.8 lens is easier to find, but this one is nicer) and this lens is a beauty. Superb condition and amazingly sharp with lovely colours and contrast. Probably my favourite from all my legacy lenses. A few recent shots:

The shame is that this one would probably worth a lot more if it wasn't for the new DA35/2.4 lens, but I think this one probably does have a big more character and it certainly exudes quality. Of course it's also full frame ready, which the DA won't be Price £90 incl RMSD.

SMC Pentax 200/4 M

Lovely example in as-new and unmarked condition. Not going to post any images taken with it because I really haven't used it much at all - one reason for the sale. From previous experience these are nice capable lenses and, aside from anything else, there is a certain joy just from using a lens with such perfectly-damped focusing and nice build quality (as per the lenses above). Has a built in hood. These lenses are relatively easy to find, although not in this condition, Hence a bargain at £45 incl recorded delivery.

I accept PayPal (prices above are net to me) or bank transfer, and am happy to discuss insured postage within the EU if it is to destinations served by AirSure. Please PM me with any question.
