A great story Steve, and a great set of Puffin Pics. I like them all, the expressions and colours are excellent!

What a gorgeous set Steve! Number 11 is just wonderful, as is 14, they convey the (perceived) character of these birds so well.

I'm of to the Farne's on Thursday, sea swell permitting. I just hope I can capture something anywhere near as good as these. Can I ask what camera/lens combination you used?

Superb set, nothing to not like about them all although #14 is my fav of the set.

I'm hoping to get out to the May Isle this weekend or next depending on the weather.

It's in the exif Barrie, K3 with DA*300 with 1.4TC (assume it's the Pentax as the focal length in the exif is correct @ 420mm)
Cheers
Brian.
LBA is good for you, a Lens a day helps you work, rest and play.

Thanks Steve, I new I should get one of those 1.4 things

Brian, when I hover over the images I get "Exif not found" where did you find it?

Hi Barrie

I get the exif when I hover over an image.

I'm browsing with IE 11 (64bit) and have "IExif" by Alexander Burlakov add on installed.
Cheers
Brian.

Great shots. Was over there myself for a couple of nights weekend before last, don't think I got shots as interesting as these of the puffins in 2 days!

In regards to the Pentax, the 1st day I was there there was another chap with a K-5 and DA*300mm.
