I'm looking forward to trying some medium format. Not sure my tripod can cope with this though!
Hoping it'll help force me to develop as photographer more.

I have used the Q with studio flash, mounting an IR trigger in the hotshoe, but the real limitation is the minimum aperture of f/8.
If you want MX-1 form factor and the ability to use external flash, there's a certain other camera that uses the same lens/sensor assembly and has a hotshoe, though it's not a Pentax so clearly takes horrible photos...
