I recently saw one of these for sale locally and it too was missing the switch. It seems to be a really weak point in the design and build.

Wide shots like this with a lot of green foliage in the form of many leaves always look very busy to me in B&W, especially with high contrast like this one. Nearer shots like a close-up of a few leaves, berries, a flower, something like that, can look good in B&W.

I would definitely sell the K-7 before the KP even though it won't sell for nearly as much, but if the aim is to reduce numbers rather than get some money back it'll do fine.

I don't know about the K-3 III but some cameras have a sensitivity setting for the eye sensor, if there is one maybe it needs a tweak.

So the slimmer one on the right is much better? I hadn't realised there were any ~28-80mm kit zooms form the 80s or 90s that are any good apart from the F 35-70mm. I had one of the ones on the left - image quality was rubbish and I couldn't give it away so eventually it went to a charity shop.

I would think that anything that has the V30 specification would provide more than enough speed for a K-5. I get 128GB V30s for about €17.
