Thanks everyone for your input. It seems that most IR photos are b&w.

I'm intrigued, then, as to how the 'false-colour' IR photos I've seen are produced in-camera as I understood them to be?

I've seen a number of interesting false-colour shots produced using IR converted cameras.

Is it possible to get the same or similar results using IR filters?

If 'yes', any tips please?

If you did the WB setting with the filter on could that have caused a false WB reading?

If you have a tablet or smartphone that you do carry with you, just load the .pdf file on it.

I think you'll find that the EU 2 year warranty was an opt-in by Country, and the UK didn't choose to do so.

As I understand it the UK argued that we have better consumer protection.

As title. Anyone using the Benro? Or any other recommendations please?

Just looking for something that's smaller and lighter than my Manfrotto 055.

I'd suggest you watch out for dodgy backgrounds in the posed shots; windows, railings and other junk detract from the image.

Candid's are always pot-luck.

100% better than I could do however.
