Hi all,
I was taking some test shots with my new Sigma 50mm Macro (on a tripod)at various apertures, and whilst they were high quality I'm convinced they could be sharper (or maybe its just me), and as I didn't get a user guide with my used KR, what is best procedure for 'tuning' in lenses using the fine focus adjustment facility?
Rather than repeat other posts, if you search for AF tuning here on the Forum it will throw up a few discussions and pointers, as this has been a much aired issue.
If you don't find what you want, PM me, and I'll forward you a number of (non Forum) links on the subject.

There is a setting in the menus for the K10/K20 as to what you want reset and what you want to keep each time you turn it on. I have it set to put the ISO to 200 and get rid of any exposure compensation etc. No idea if the K-m has the same sort of thing?
K.

Algernon had included a suggestion regarding Hoya selling everything in the shop before Ricoh took over.

Your right honesty is better than a fast 50, which is why I was been honest in why I am selling my stuff.
Sorry it's auto foucs, I wasn't aware they made a smc 50mm 1.4 in MF which is why I didn't list it.
Mine, for example, states 'SMC PENTAX-FA 1:1.4 50mm' on the side of the lens barrel.

I'd also be interested in whether this is a distance learning course, and if so, who's offering it?

Sorry, but it is too important for me. It's deciding whether PUF is still for me or not. If posts are removed in an instant without prior notice and members banned for voicing criticism then this is not the place for me.
Of course the mods have the right to do as they see fit at their discretion, as spelled out in the rules. But I, as every other member, have the freedom to stay or leave. And for me it is important that the moderation is carried out responsibly and fairly.

If you stay - great. If you go - it'll be a loss. Your decision, but either way life goes on.
(Bu**er! Now I'm getting drawn into this thread. I'm as bad as all the rest of you MUST GET A LIFE:roll
