There'll be other suggestions along soon, but try PC Inspector from Convar - it'll recover .jpg's. link
Also try 'Zero Assumption Recovery' link

On a less positive note, I see Ben Karanek has defected to Nikon (D600) and is now trashing the Pentax system he was always so evangelical about.
I think you will find it is a Practika B mount

"At this point we are focusing on Canon and Nikon DSLRs. We would like to add support for additional cameras in the future, but don't know if/when this would happen. The unfortunate reality of the situation is that Pentax is a much smaller market within DSLRs, but it is possible at some point".
I tried the 'we're WR', 'better togs', 'nice people', arguments, but to no avail.

Shots of places I've been over the years - how they've changed; my Dad's 35mm slides - now I know where my bad photographer genes came from; the kids - were they ever so small/cute; the house and garden since we moved in - why did we change that?, etc, etc.
All my stuff is backed up over three external disks for safety, one of which is off-site at my sisters and swapped on a weekly basis.

Looking forward to (hopefully) seeing photos of Hungary.

Anyway, used it to shoot the Millennium bridge and the moiré in the metal mesh walkway has to be seen to be believed.
I posted (but deleted) the resulting photo on another site to ask if this level of moiré was normal for this particular camera, only to find that when posted the JPEGS showed no evidence of moiré at all.
So, given that the moiré shows when I view both the JPEGS and RAW on my computer, why does it disappear when the images are posted on-line?
(And is this the way to deal with the moiré effects with the K5IIs :lol
