There has been some discussion on Facebook about camera club meetings and some are deciding to temporarily close till things ease off.

What are the various clubs we all belong to doing?

Two packages arrived today. One was delivered by Royal Mail and I opened my door to find the parcel neatly waiting by my feet and the driver neatly waiting 2 metres or so away. The second was delivered by my Yodel Lady, who handed me the package whilst apologising for being early but didn't seem to mind standing right next to me.

It took me a moment before I realised why the Royal Mail were behaving so cautiously.....clearly standing instructions are varying from courier to coutier.

People have all sorts of belief systems and everyone is welcome at PU. But we do avoid politics and religion in the forums, which hopefully goes a long way towards not causing offence.

The end date has now been corrected and the competition is open for entries.

So far, we haven't seen any signs of panic buying and no empty shelves. I daresay that hand disinfection products might go scarce for a while, but there are plenty of them to be had in bigger suppliers like Costco. I noticed that there was picture of a shopper with a huge case of toilet rolls, but the paper declined to mention that it was shot in Costco where that's the only way you can buy such things. Perhaps she ran a shop, in which case there might have been a photo opportunity to show her with several cases.....who said photography never lies?

I do see there could be a problem for those who can't afford to get a few things in, or who can't get out to the larger stores, so hopefully families will pull together.

Meanwhile, we actually got out to shoot a few pictures for ourselves yesterday, which was a first for quite a while. Very pleasant too. Today the sun is shining, a package is on the way with another lens and you can bet that by the time it arrives the sun will be gone and the rain will have set in!

It's probably the right thing to do - even if it went ahead attendance could be seriously low.

See you in September!

There is of course seller fraud on eBay, but there's also Buyer Fraud and some unscrupulous buyers know all the tricks, sometimes keeping the goods as well as getting a full refund. I do feel that both buyer and seller should be treated equally fairly.

Very interesting, but no definitive conclusion. Pentax users will find the 645Z works exactly like any other Pentax DSLR, Fuji users will find the same but relating to the Fuji mirrorless range.

Both cameras produce stunning results, handle fairly similarly but not identically and cost within the same ballpark figure, maybe the Fuji slightly less expensive, depending on lenses chosen.

Whichever one anyone would like to buy for me I would be happy to use!

The lenses have a certain indefinable quality about them, but don't necessarily have the highest resolution of all available lenses. The FA-J 75-300mm is a good example - not the sharpest of lenses, but sharp enough and having the most glorious bokeh. I picked up a new one from SRS when they were clearing the last few and use it extensively on the K-1 for flower studies and wildlife. At £100 it was a fantastic bargain.
