Gareth, she isn't camera shy, I can tell you! She loved it when the camera is out and utterly loves dressing up. She was easy to photograph....my nephew on the other hand was a touch more difficult...lol!

The backhround was indeed a set of curtains and matching carpet....was my sisters living room! lol! Either side of these shots was a large telly, a large sofa, my Dad and loads of electronic gadgets! lol! So had to take in what I could get really....

Number 1 IS a touch soft...I think I uploaded the wrong one, but will check when I get home....nicely spotted guys!!!

Cheers Gareth, its what I tried to convey actually....I couldn't really get the bib lost though as he had just been fed, was very asleep and don't think the parents would have been too happy me asking...lol! Was a bit of a quick snap anyway, so had to take as was....but yeah, if I had a better chance, I agree. Thanks for your comments though! Appreciated!

Yeah, the flash wasn't meant to be that hard but we had to keep it a fair distance away as we were short on space as there were other girls being photographed in other parts of the studio....hence the harsh flash...I kind of like it though

Did these in a studio. Shots of some local dancers who needed some images for their portfolios. Didn't get a lot of time with each of the model and the look and poses was dictated by themselves, so was hard to get each image perfect, but we did our best. Hope you like and happy to take C&C!

Thanks Terry....its strange that everyone sees something different in a shot isn't it as when I have shown this shot to others, they really like that the shot concentrates on the baby.....I guess the crop can be taken both ways I guess......but thanks for the compliment....

The second shot was a candid I took of him while he was thinking of ideas and where to go to take more shots. I just liked it with the juxtaposition of looking like he is a praying in such an urban environment....

Yeah, the snow is a bit blue, agreed, but I am still in the learning stages with PS and Lightroom and didn't know how to keep the colour of the snow while I did the rest of the adjustments....to be fair, it was very late in the day anyway, so light getting dark and there wasn't much to work with, but bringing out the colours in the rest and toning it down for the flash made everything look a touch blue....

The last three I really liked....I had never used the macro facility on the lens and saw the snow and ice on there and had a go and this is what came out. No, wasn't taken up there, but know where you mean....this is the toroscope at the top of the hill at Baggeridge Country Park, quite some way away!!!

Tim, it was a tunnel that led under a private road IN the country park....hence the confusion....
