Thanks for your replies chaps. I have this on 3 different bodies, 2 pentax k one a praktica bayonet so different lenses too. I have it on agfa iso 200 and fuji iso 100 films. I also have it on two developers one admittedly asda! and to a much lesser extent on pictures from jessops.
At first I blamed asda (though it is much worse on theirs.
My pentax gear is used but in good nick, my me super has just been serviced. I have had all my Praktica gear since new and have treated it well, so Iam flummoxed!
I'm really not sure how to post an image but i have a few small 60k files lined up ready, if anyone can tell me.

I am occasionally getting a red cast in some parts of my pictures, particularly with 50mm and wider lenses in bright conditions. It's happenning on all three of my cameras and with two different developers. Does anyone know what this could be? I don't use any lens hoods, Could a collapsible lens hood stop this?

My flash has suddenly stopped flashing! It charges quickly and the test button lights, but it will not flash, either via test or on camera. Could this be the bulb? Are they worth repairing?

Just picked one of these up for a few quid, but without an instruction guide. It looks as if it works but as it's my first meter I have no idea how to use it!
Can anyone give me a quick lesson?

Thanks George, I think the guy was trying to blind me with his skills and knowledge! I looked it up the other day and found out what it was. I'm going for the reflector option, and I think I'll try to build a screen, using a collapsible tent pole. Do you think that might work?

A chap on ephotozine suggested i should use subtractive lighting for this shot,

I'm guessing it might be something like fill in flash? Can anyone explain subtractive lighting (in simple terms) please?

I picked up the above flash unit on ebay (in good nic for 6.50 pounds) it works well with my p30t but my me super doesn't appear to recognise it. Is this normal? and if so can anyone reccomend a flash for my me super please?
