I can't see a "recommendations" section, so figured I would post this here.

I had my ME Super serviced by "The Camera Repairer" of Clay Cross, Derbyshire, as suggested by another forum user.
www.camerarepairs-r-us.co.uk

The service was excellent, very quick and courteous, with the camera well packaged for it's return trip to me. The mirror cushion and light seals have been replaced, but when viewing through the viewfinder, it's now so clean it's almost better than new!

This all at an excellent price.

When looking through the posts on the "favourite film" thread, it is obvious that many are using slide film as opposed to negatives.
What advantages do slide films hold over negs?
How do you present them? do you have to rearrange the house and family to show them or is there another method?
I know this might sound a daft question, but I have never even thought of using slide film due to my perception of difficulties in storing and presenting them to others.

I've ordered 20 rolls of fuji superia 200 asa and a 3 pack of 100 asa, from 7day shop, just to be going on with. I had difficulty believing how cheap they were and expected crazy postage charges, but this lot cost less than 24 quid delivered!

I'm just getting back into photography after an abscence of a few years, I tend to photograph motorsports (mainly classic motorcycle racing), peak district scenery, and family.
Obviously these are broad photographic interests and require different film speeds, but which are the best quality/value these days, which have the best colour tones, and which should a poor underpaid nurse like myself use for the special occasion?

Thanks very much to simon and kim for your replies. After posting on here last night i had a look on ebay usa and found the guy your talking about. I bought the seals using buy it now.

I think you'll find the same guy on www.cameraseals.com

I have had my first roll of film from the me developed today. Just a few snaps of the wife in the garden. A handful were lovely, one i think was exposed better than any portrait i have taken in 20 years play with slr's. However most were poorly focussed as a result of what i think is dust and muck above the focussing screen (the mirror box is very clean).

Will it be a major job to clean the inside of the viewfinder and screen?

Having read an earlier post I have had a look at my camera's mirror cushion foam. It has a couple of small spots where the foam is missing, and the screw in the centre is exposed.
Is this an expensive / big job to have repaired? Are the likes of Jessops any good for this kind of thing?
