Am having a wife inspired house reorganisation and we need to move things on (my guitar amp has also blown up so funds are needed to repair it). I also have a DA 2.4 30mm I will list separately as it's digital.

Will be in the UK and available to post from Monday. Photos should get added tomorrow night as I have a stop off in Germany (apart from the K35mm lens and the Super A as these are in the UK already). Postage will be 1st class signed for and only the 6x7 I might have to double check. Everything else should be in the order of £5-£7 from memory of the last time I used Royal Mail. So:

1) Pentax 6x7 with Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 75mm f4.5. Bought in working order from this forum but I just haven't had the opportunity to use it so it needs to go to someone who will. It is exactly the same condition wise as I bought it in and is in decent condition. I will try and show as much as I can in the pics.

I paid £125 for it and will be happy for that.

2) Pentax Super A. Full working order and in nice condition. Have run several films though it and have never had a problem. I have two of these so one can sadly go.

3) Pentax MZ7 with battery grip. I simply prefer the MF cameras and no longer have any AF lenses really compatible with it. Full working order and in good condition. Pop up flash works fine and stays popped up!

4) Pentax Spotmatic F. Very good condition but just not getting the use as I have been using my other Spotmatic F. Includes a Super-Takumar 55m F2 lens (note this is the version that requires stop down metering) that seems to like B+W film. Everything seems to be working fine with it.

5) Pentax K 35mm f3.5. Really nice lens in very good condition. This has a reputation but I seem to "see" in 50mm more and don't get on with the focal length as much as I would like to it can go to a good home. Comes with a Nikon lens hood supplied by the previous owner.

Just wondering whether the Super A or the P30t is more likely to be more accurate? THe P30t was a more budget model? I know the Super A was the top at the time aside from the LX. Maybe there's the impetus to finish that Ilford off! I'm back in the UK next month for a couple of weeks so thought it would be a nice diversion/experiment!

Found some AGFA Prescia slide film in a Boots equivalent in the city. I have the choice of a Spotmatic F, a Super A or a P30T. The Super A and the P30T can share the M28 3.5, M 135, M50 1.7 and a K55 1.8. So a few choices. Haven't used slide film before and it was a frankly impulse purchase just because it was there. It is brand new and well in date!

THe P30t is the only one not to actually have a film in it, but I am prepared to wait it out..........

And, it's not outside the realms of possibility due to the price........ I have no chance for a very long time but you could conceivably save up for it. Wasn't expecting that price point to be honest.

Looks like AG Photographic and Peak Imaging are the best bets? I'm in the UK for a couple of weeks next month so am looking for a develop and scanning service as I have collected about 5 or so rolls. And my little scanner is dead.......! Looks like you get a better resolution scan from AG though for a similar price? Any one else used them?

Got out today and compared well to a Pentax Q and a Pentax P30t I found in a bag I'd forgotten about.......... Half a film from at least 3 years ago inside! We shall see what is on it! K55 1.7 on the front as I am not sure where my A 50mm 1.7 is.....

My Dad's old Spotmatic F with an ok lightmeter but no idea how accurate the shutter speeds are!!

Will have to wait and see how the two recent rolls go.Found a roll of Ektar I think is exposed but I have no memory of using it, and no idea what might be on it. Such is the state of my life! Am considering using a UK based process and scan service "Snaps Photo Service" seen them mentioned on the forum and they are good for the scanning and not too expensive.

Downloaded the price list to double check and E6 slide development is 1500 HUF which is roughly £3.65............ There are some good things about living here!! Scanning gets pricey though...... You do have to physically go there though as I don't think they do postage, they supply a nice A4 holder for the negatives too!

Not heard of this before. Think it may have improved some things somewhat in the past then! So even Ektar would benefit from rating it at 80 rather than 100 or is that just too finicky about exposure? I may have some Fuji in my drawer, definately some Superia 400. Not sure i I liked it or not..........?

Should clear some of this older film out first before getting anything potentially nicer.I have 7 rolls of this AGFA, 7 rolls of Kodak Colorplus 200, 3 rolls of Fuji C200, 2 Ilford B+W 120 (supposed to be for the 6x7 I still haven't got around to trying), 2 rolls of Fuji Superia 400, 1 roll Ilford Delta 100 in a Super A and one roll of Ilford FP4 Plus expired in 2007! Most of the colour films are 1 year to 2 years expired. When I was shooting more film a couple of years ago I got obsessed with Kodak Ektar and forgot I had all of these! Just opened a drawer I haven't checked since we moved over here and found all of this........

I have a good local lab who will develop B+W and C41 for 880 HUF a film. This is roughly £2 or so and they do a decent job with a real dark room. No difference in price between 24 and 36 exposures which is annoying as the Kodaks are 24 and I would feel it's poor value!!
