Hi, since aquiring the set of DA* zooms and with the prospect of emigration looming over the hills it is time to move a few items on to make a little space!

First of all is a DA 18-55mm WR lens in perfect condition. I have two of these so really one should go! Purchased from SRS in 2010. Boxed with all paperwork and lens hood.

£45 plus postage

Next up is a DA 50-200mm WR lens bought from SRS in 2009. Mechanically perfect condition aside from the serial number sticker coming of a little. Fully boxed with all original paperwork and lens hood.

£85 plus postage

Pentax SMC A 50mm f 1.7 in very good condition with both caps. One small mark on the front element but does not affect performance at all. This has only had light use by me. No fungus or oil on the blades and everything is smooth and firm in operation.

£25 plus postage.

Pentax ES spares or repair as requires a CLA and a general reset of the shutter. The electrics work however.

Basically make an offer!

Pentax SMC Takumar 55mm F 1.8. This lens is in top condition cosmetically and mechanically. The only issue is that there is fungus on the rear element which I am sure someone out there with the time, tools and skills can get this back to pristine condition. I have tried to photo the fungus as well as I can and it should be visible in this shot.

Not sure really but £15 seems ok? Or make me an offer on this!

In terms of postage I would expect the majority of these to be around the £5 to £10 mark depending on the level of service required. I will only use Royal Mail and the basic will be 1st class recorded. If a buyer wants the RMSD I'll go for that! I want to be flexible. Payment by bank transfer, Paypal or cheque (but must clear before despatch). I've bought and sold many times on this forum and hope I can be considered reliable!

That's everything at the moment.....

1 and 3 are shots I always take when I have new lenses to test (this place is minutes from the house was being hurried along by the partner with the pram, I think I was supposed to be helping to push!). I am paranoid about focusing and colours. I was trying to use the SUnny 16 rule but the K5 was metering at ISO 100 and 1/100 at f8 when I would have thought it more appropriate for f11 or f 16 under those light conditions, but what do I know?

Seemed ok on my screen brightness wise but that could simply be the two different screens. I have no choice with the laptop.

I think I should only photograph flowers from now on.....

All with either the DA* 16-50 0r DA* 50-135. ISO 100 but my K5 loved metering for F8 even in the sunlight...

More processing in Lightroom 3 then usual, aiming for punchy colours. Was happy to underexpose a touch and redeem it in post processing. There's a possibility I may have overdone the colour saturation?

Yes, I am almost pathological about not including people, even not obviously, in photos!! Was really busy and no-one else seemed to have a DSLR of any kind that I could see..... I felt all self concious, which is why I won't make a street shooter....

I feel better now, just not used to the DA* after the kit lens and film MF for a year! I think the harsh sunlight was fooling the meter a bit and softening everything up. Never had an issue with focus before..... Just paranoid I think.....

Great looking pics, I got one at the SRS price and have been really impressed with what it can do for such a teeny little thing......! I've just had the 01 prime though. May have a think about oe of these converters.
