Hi,
My daughter wants a DSLR for her 18th birthday, and I was thinking of purchasing the K-r twin lens kit for her. I have a K10d, and one of the most useful features I find is the digital preview, then being able to set the WB in this mode before taking the actual shot. Does the K-r have this feature?

Regards

I know I have seen this in the forum before, but can't locate the link. Is there a way to display the number of shots taken on a K10d?

One thing that I like about PSP is that the help centre is so easy to help you use the program.

I know this may possibly have been discussed before, but has there ever been a competition for unedited, ie untweaked digital photos?
I like to take photos, and never spend ages tweaking them, although I must admit I do sometimes a little bit, but not drastically.
Just thought a competition without any photo editing allowed might be challenging

How do you rate Paint Shop Pro?
It has been around for a long time, and once you get use to it, I find it easier than elements, and is quite competitively priced. I have used it since version V, and find it easier perhaps due to the fact that I am used to the program

I know on this forum everyone seems to favour adobe products, but how do you you all rate Paint Shop Pro?

Any tips on shooting through glass? I went to the British Museum with my daughter during half term, and got some good shots of antiquities behind glass using high ISO and no flash, manually setting the white balance: but also got some bad ones! I didn't think about manual focus until after I left though, perhaps this is the answer

I have often thought about this but what happens if the product develops a fault - would pentax uk honour a lens or camera fault bought abroad?

Hi,
Apologies if this has been asked before, but why do Pentax still make some models, such as the upcoming K-x with rechargeable AA batteries rather than Lithium ion? I find lithium ion so much more convenient - is it just a matter of cost? Obviously the purchaser has to purchase the the rechargeable AAs, It would be about the only thing to put me off purchasing the K-x
