If this is true, it seems to have had a very short product life cycle. Looking back through the forum, it seems to have been about fifteen months.
Maybe they need the capacity to produce more sensors to get the price of the K-7 down.

Several people have used them recently and they offer a discount for forum members, it says on there prices page.

The K-7 seems to be what an awful lot of people want from Pentax, a serious, well spec'd camera which should be VERY desirable.
But in the current economic climate will I be buying one?
Not for a long time yet!

GX10 (recently acquired from Park for £289), K100D, and partner has K-m and ME Super. I've designated my GX10 as a K10d in the poll. Hope I'm not found out.
