Welcome to the forum from a K200d user.

If you prefer AA batteries this is the one for you.

Image quality up to ISO800 is fine, although I seldom need to go that high and haven't needed ISO1600!

If 10Meg is OK for you then try one, if you want a higher pixel count go for the K20d.

Forgot to mention This link, for standard lens samples.

That's the one.

Welcome to the forum Les.

As Greytop says, the best way to learn is to play with the settings. Don't forget that the K-m has a 'help' button that some people find very useful when just starting.

The lens seems a little expensive, as for the 'slr' are you bidding?

It could be a mint LX, or more likely a dead MV!

I tried isolating the sword hand but the Sigma 18-200 isn't that fast, that and the strong light meant that f5.6 didn't quite blur the Minster enough. You live and learn!

As for the 'bunny', hows this.

Thanks Mike, that's what I need to know.

I was working around tourists and getting a bit frustrated at times.

When I say straight from the camera I mean NO processing work has been done and wondered what others would do with them, I get lazy a lot of the time and just leave things.

The cropping you mentioned will work and may get done at a later date.

As for the hand shot in mid air, it reminded me of the creation of Adam(?)
form that chapel in Italy (the name escapes me!)

Once again, thanks Mike, I thought nobody had any views and I knew they weren't perfect.
