Check out your local PC world, they have the K-x in the Bradford store and I understand it's a regular item across all their stores.

Then you can order from SRS and get free delivery by telling them you're a site member.

Hi Emma, if you post a picture of the set up somebody may be able to help.

AFAIK there are several adaptors for P&S cameras to fit scopes, it all depends which you have, and a picture saves 100 words.

I know that, but it's much more fun trying it out in the field.

The hard way, so to speak.

The last shot I had like your example was actually taken with the wrong exposure and looked no where near as good.

I'm going to try not to think about where the 'grip' is located
What grip?

That went ages ago!

Yes, with the nose mount. It's a great shame they don't make an autofocus version.
I know what you mean, I've a couple of sets of these wonderfull lenses, it's just a shame that the body to go with them is shot!

There is NO PP used at all it was all done with the camer lens and nothing at all software wise.

I can even say that people who try to have the best photo straight out of their camera are the lazy ones because they don't go through the effort of maxing out the possibilities of their digital camera
Aw Stefan, I thought you liked me!

As I said earlier, I try not to PP because the shot 'straight from the camera' is what I want. I do, however, remove dust spots and crop images, usually that's all.

For me using the camera and getting it right, without having to resort to PP is the main thing.

The difference between your first image, the rose, and a heavily tweaked photo Stefan is that the rose is an image. It's what you saw hidden in the original that you wanted to produce and display.

It's not trying to hide bad technique or poor lens/camera quality, which the other is.
