Hi Emma, if you post a picture of the set up somebody may be able to help.

AFAIK there are several adaptors for P&S cameras to fit scopes, it all depends which you have, and a picture saves 100 words.

Emma, most digiscoping units will go on DSLR's using a T Mount adaptor, you'll need to look at wether Nikon make one for the Pentax or if a universal T mount in PK fitting will work with the Nikon scope.

Looking at the setup your easiest option to use any other P&S camera could be to get one of these and a standard eye piece for the scope.

The adaptor you have seems to be specific for the camera.

Hope that helps.

You could try that Emma, you'd need a standard eyepiece to use it by the look of it and a T2 mount.
