Honesty's a little bit busy with her boyfreind and guides at the moment. She's got my Optio with her on camp but whether the pictures will be worth posting is another story...

It's not done by software but by sensor movement, like the DSLRs.
That alone has to be the thing worth getting one for, the images I've seen so far are excellent.
If you want a viewfinder on a P&S you're going to struggle. The best Pentax did were the 5meg Optios, in my mind they were better than the cannon ixus of the same period. I tried cannon, Olympus and Pentax, going with the Pentax in the end just for the IQ.
Now viewfinders seem limited to bridge and DSLr type cameras.

I got the film on Teusday after ordering on Monday!
Excellent service, and yes Fomapan is available in bulk, that's what I got.

As Stefan says, the best size for posting here is 800x600 so that they fit on a page easily, this shot is from photobucket sized as 800x600.

and as you can see is perfectly acceptable. The uploaded file was straight from the camera, a K200d at full resolution.
Don't believe all you read, try things out, I do and get surprised an awful lot doing so!

Saves the cost of a separate strap and means quick conversion from wrist to shoulder.
I've tried wrist straps and found that they restricted movement and access to buttons.
