The original Pentax one is expensive, search ebay for something like this CLICKY LINK, that will do the job just as well.

Beware of chrome plated ones though, the plating can crumble and get into the camera body!

This is what you'll need to replace the light seals Emma

CLICKY LINK

It isn't that hard to do, but first I'd have a go through Paypal to get some or all your money back.

But can't the manufacturers use an 'obsolete' body, ie last years model, strip the software and cut the price?

After all we only have all the different modes because the on board computer can do it. Surely a RISC processor could be used to cut costs.

Maybe the long awaited digital MX (or MES) could be just around the corner...

It would be nice to see Concorde and Vulcan flying side by side.

I used the colour film as it only cost me a fiver for ten rolls.

Now I use B&W, as the sets on Flickr show, and develop it just because I can!

When I renovated my first MX I took a real to check it was OK, the film was out of date, so the colour cast was expected.

The shots are HERE Clicky Link

I take a 50mm on walk about sometimes, it makes me think about the shots more, I also have a Tammy 18-250 which is a very good all purpose lens and tends to be the choice for holidays.

Primes better than zooms?

Zooms better than primes?

I think both have their place, primes are great for street and portrait shots, but zooms win out travelling.
