Nice set Kris, it's good to see some true, quality B&W shots from film.

The first is impressive and good use of a wide lens.

Welcome to the forum SuziQ.

Just be warned that this photography thing becomes addictive, you'll end up with a DSLR, bag of lenses....

Erm...

On a recent visit to Barcelona I saw far too many Pentax cameras in use, the Spanish must have them all!

It's been nice here, the sun was shining but he temperature's stayed cool all day.

The first thing I did when I got in from work at 5 was light the fire. Nice and toasty in the house now as the central heatings kicked in.

Just had the dishwasher out, thumped it, turned it upside down and shaken it.

It's now doing a rinse cycle!

Seems something must have been stuck in a filter and the movement has dislodged it.

YAY!

£200 saved towards anew camera!

Interesting, but manual only?

The Pentax is auto focus.

Still, if the price is right it will be a good option.

Are you trying to put me out of a job David?

In Bradford the Park Ranger Service is under manned, under funded and over worked!

Still, we try and HELP THE PUBLIC where we can and provide a service that seems valued in our community.

Unlike the Scottish council we welcome visitors and photographers. The only time we stop people is for a talk about kit and where the best views are.

Come to Bradford and enjoy our parks..

..free!

When i grew up in the 60s we had a water container of sorts under the bed, the Elizabethans used to empty these out of the window shouting "'Garde leau"

You could try that.

I've done similar. Been shooting inside and selected something like 1000 or 1600. Came back out into the sunshine and forgot to change ISO back.
You can change ISO?

I did wonder why my shots were dark, I'd left ISO at 100 and tried shooting indoors on a recent museum visit (no flash allowed)

As the K5 and K7 use the same body it follows the chassis should be the same. Like wise the K-r and K-x.

So the strain of a four body range wouldn't be much more than a two body one.

The same production line could be switched between bodies at the change of a parts bin(metaphorically)

Bring on the bodies Pentax!

A cricket bat would work.

Applied hard to the back of the head!

We had a noisy neighbour, then his mother moved out to live with her boyfriend(don't ask!)

He now rents the house from her and all is serene.
