I for one am glad the wedding's over.

Maybe we can get back to some normal TV programmes now and not the Royal Wedding specials we've been suffering for the past 2 weeks.

Off to Harrogate now for a wander and lunch. I can hear a beer or 2 calling...

It's when the toll machine in France eats your card that you worry!

Fortunately it was on the way home and my replacement AMEX blue card arrived the same day we got home, total from reporting eaten to receiving new card was 2 days!

I find it insulting that some banks (Santander amongst them) want to see a passport or similar when closing an account with them and transferring the money to another bank account in the same name!!

Off course we have to remember we're all drug dealing gun running money launderers!

BACS is the system the banks use to transfer money between them selves.

It's a non profit organisation which handles millions of pounds everyday.

It usually takes 3 days to clear a transaction during which time the monies are held in the BACS system.

Guess who owns and runs the system?

The banks!!!

and there's no profit???

Looking at the calender I'll throw Sat 28th or Sun 29th of May into the ring.

How do these dates sound to everybody?

Calm down folks.

I've considered updating from my K200.

First the K-7 seemed a good idea but the price was too high.

Then the K-5 arrived and the '7 price dropped.

But then the improvements in the '5 grabbed me.

I'm still considering a new body, but discussions like this just make me more confused!

Think I'll wait and see what body comes next.

I am getting paid, the roads are very quiet and after a quick coffee it's back to work.

I prefer Carlsberg with Quavers 'spider, the conflicting tastes cancel each other out!

I was considering signing up to the magazine a while back, the reason I didn't was purely that all info I needed was here on the forum.

From what I've seen about the new PU sub I shall wait until it's clear what is included over the basic membership.

That doesn't mean I won't sign up, but there again..

I'll check which weekends I'm working and get back on this one 'spider.

If I'm off the last weekend in May I could be tempted.

From Shipley eh?

I live just up the road in Thackley having spent most of my life in the Windhill/Thackley area.

Nice image BTW, I also find the CSx suietes heavy but like Elements, it's easier to use and Elements 4 even has an idiot proof setting.

Welcome to the family, as you probably know there are a few West Yorks members her, and having met a few I can say that we seem a friendly bunch.

As long as it's not our round!
