Yes I did 'spider, that's what makes B&W so challenging.

What can be a poor image when viewed in colour can suddenly become very interesting in mono!

But I still can't convert Colour to B&W!

Although I can go 1/2 way..

I've only got one Sandisk, it's an Ultra II.

The lock switch has gone missing from that too!

Seems that Sandisk QC isn't up to the price they charge.

My 3 year old Kingston cards are still in one piece.

Luckily for me the 'Ultra is still useable, the switch going missing from the 'open' position, but I don't trust it!

Don't worry about it 'spider.

We live in a very liberal country where such questions are tolerated and religious beliefs openly practiced.

If we were in other parts of the world though, I wouldn't answer the door if I were you!

I find that when I'm using B&W film I look more for texture, light and shade.

When using colour I look for contrast.

When I try converting to B&W I never seem to be able to get it right,it seems that my mind can only work in one set and not as a general 'I can convert that' way.

Like you Dave, I struggle to convert images.

They are a nice lens aren't they?

Nice rich colours and sharp images always seem to come with these, although there are a few duff ones out there.

Nice flower shots by the way.

..and pushed my insurance up anothr £10!!

Born again bikers, they never learn.

I went to insure my old BMW650 a few years back, I ride a bike every day at work, did that count?

No chance!

Because I hadn't had MY OWN POLICY for a few years I was a born again biker and got quoted between £650 and £1780!!!

Thank the lord for classic bike insurance, I paid £120 for a limited milage policy which is now down to £ 85, thanks to full NCB.

What have feet got to do with it?

Sunday tea, beef stew in Yorkshire puddings and a side order of beer,.

Heaven!
