Almost on first name terms with the staff at BRI>

Another visit this morning, just got home, and the consultant has given her some Domestos to knock out the infection in her leg.

And to rub salt in the wounds it's a lovely day that I've spent in a b****y hospital!!

When I should have been cutting and stacking wood for next winter.

If I remember right, there's a couple of screws under the leatherette either side of the mount.

Hope that helps.

Trust the French to make life'interesting' for visitors. We were already aware of this daft legislation, I thought the EU was supposed to stop these regional money makers?

Rant time.

Just spent 40, yes 40 minutes driving around Bradford Royal Infirmary's car park looking for somewhere to park!
Don't get me wrong, the staff are super and service great, but the parking...
....it beggers belief that a hospital serving so many people has so little parking.

I wouldn't mind, but I was there to collect the boss after her latest adventure (blood clot, swollen leg etc etc)and there was nowhere to park next to the door I wanted!
I ended up in an ambulance space and left a message with a porter (having a cig!) that I wouldn't be long.
Ten minutes and I was off.

Pizza Hut are delivering my supper tonight, I can't face cooking again.

Oh dear what are Pentax playing at?

When the DA35 F2.4 hit the street at £130ish we all hoped it was the first of an affordable range. Although that's now up at £169, it's still within the reach of most of us.

£250 is just too high!

Please Pentax, be reasonable, a lower price will sell these better making them cheaper to produce etc.

OK, little tip, look on ebay for an AGFA Rondinax 35u developing tank.

It's a 'daylight' tank and works well, a few of us on here use them.

Powder AFAIK should be mixed to make a 'stock' solution, but I use Ilford Ilfosol S diluted to suit.

I don'thave a problem with glasses and viewfinders.

The only thing that bugs me is theoblong shape left on my glasses by the standard K200 eye piece!

I've recently bought a DA35 to sit on my K200.

My DA40 sits on the K110.

Images taken with both lenses on the same camera have few major differences. The 35 being less saturated in colour than the 40. The 40 having a narrower field than the 35 (obviously).

The 40, because of it's size has been a favoured walk around town lens, I need to try the 35 for this and see how it compares.

I'm interested in the new 50 just announced for iminent launch, mainly tosee whether it would be worth adding to the bag as a portrait lens. I currently use a SMCA 50mm f1.7 when I'm playing in this area and need an autofocus lens(failing eyes etc.). I've tried the 40 but it just doesn't do it for me in this mode.

On a wider view, I tend to fit the Tammy18-250 when I go on holiday, and although the 40 goes with me it sees little use,so little that this year it may stay at home.
