The last of the 'no SR' bodies was AFAIK the K110d

Very much what you say about the *istD models applies. It gets my vote.

Yes I have one and yes it still gets used. I suppose there are similar models in the Nikon range and, come to that, there's the Minolta DSLRs,the ones before Sony took over.

I can't think of anything by canon, they didn't make a no whistles, does it all basic model, not with good IQ anyway.

The only Austin I know was my (t)rusty, now long gone A35.

Avira!!!

Just spent 5 minutes telling it thart a file was OK, and trying to stop it 'scanning' when it wanted!

Free programmes are fine, but some times...

Ooo naughty Greynolds!

Colour film is one thing I try to avoid, it costs money to get developed.

I'll stick to Fomapan B&W, although I am tempted to try the £1 AGFA film from £land, they also get Kodak in from time to time.

I suppose it depends on which warehouse is dumping stock.

Designer price tag?

Article on the radio yesterday about a designer who has 'patented' RED SOLES on his/her/it's shoes.

Now let me see, several bike boot companies, a few trainer manufacturers and sundry far east companies have used red soles for ages. I assume it's a US patent?

Back in soggy Bradford, had to leave the sun in Llandudno, they need something to cheer them up with all that plastic lager and mediocre beer...

Stick to it Bernard.

Sun, yes sun in the sky here in Llandudno!

I'll post some photos later, but there realy sun in the sky!

It made another trip up the 'orme worth while, especially as we could (just) make out the Isle of Man...

...thinks, must go back ther some day.

As for undrinkable beer, most 'electric stuff' from the 80s.

In Llandudno, hotel great, food fantastic, only down side is the beer, but it's drinkable.

Laters folk.

I use the Tammy 18-250, it's the same as the Pentax one, and have just shot a few frames with my K5.

So far so good, the images at the long end suffer a little in the clarity side, but nothing PP can't sort.

The camera's set to Av, but I have played with other settings, preferring to use Av most of the time.

Raspberry Pi, credit card sized computer.

It works well, all I need to do is get my head around Linux.
