Football is clearly related to photography - for even the best teams, no matter that all the skills are there, that the composition is right, that all the parameters are well-controlled, yet they usually produce only a handful of really good shots.

UPDATE

I ordered a grip, the one favoured, from Amazon, 1 month on it hadn't arrived.

I claimed and got a refund and now am about to bite the bullet and order from ebay.

The Amazon supplier was not clearly marked as an off shore supplier, despite being based in Hong Kong (I think). Consequently the 1st class Royal Mail despatch was a bit misleading.

I can't fault Amazon for their service, the supplier is now marked as shipped from the USA, but I've wasted a month and will now have to start all over again!

Look forward to seeing you back in much better health Tony, meanwhile I'll have the drink for you.
Yeah send us a list of what you prefer and we will work through it Tony.
Seconded.

I remember the oppen air lido in Lister park, Bradford.

I also remember it being demolished back in the 90s and bulldozed into the pool!

It's now a gentle green pasture in the park where people have picnics.

Ah, memories....

Edit due to wine!

Sorry to hear you're a little under the weather Tony.

I'll be thinking of you when I next have a beer.

I did say next,I'm actually dry at the moment, it's too hot for beer and too late for wine when I get home from work around 10 past 10.

Maybe I need some, dare I say it,lager in the fridge.

I don't feel annoyed, it doesn't really mean anything, it's just incomplete reporting.
Shouldn't incomplete read incompetent John?

All this article does is show how the big electronic companies, one in particular, are trying to take over the world.

But unlike the Borg resistance to them is not futile.

Could be...

...and why are the press suddenly singing Bradley Wiggins' praises as the saviour of British sport?

OK, so He did an excellent job in France, but let the lad rest so he can do it again!

I've set the recorder for various progs lately, only to find They'd been replaced by tennis/football/athletics.

I wouldn't mind, but I now have to watch the second Shakespeare thing on I player.

OK, so let's get it over with, now I'm sobber(different story that)

Well done Bradley Wiggins.

We watched the tour from the start, not knowing that it was going to be so historic.

As for alcohol, I went in the cellar and brought up 1 5l box and 10 bottles of wine!!!

I'd forgotten we had so much in the rack!!!

Slightly jealous here, I have neither of these in my(all too large!) collection.

Although I do have an S1a and an S3 which are contemporary models to the SV.

Enjoy them and let's see some shots taken with them.
