hopw you dont mind i had a quick play, i thought the building to the right was a little too much hidden and wanted to make it more visible, also the 2 tree's that are more of a centre point i've brought out a bit more too, selective levels adjust, some dodge and burn and some selective contrast adjust, only done quickly but i think i quite like it,

What do you think?

I'm a bit dissapointed that the poll doesn't show you to be a 100% Numpty, but I always did have a sick sense of humour
I'm a bit dissapointed that i've not even got a sympathetic no

Well I admit I laughed, but I also recognised myself in your tale of woe. It is the sort of dumb thing I do.

If I'd known you wanted a rainsleeve I'd have bunged one in the post to you. (just to rub salt in the wound - sorry :blush
HaHa thanks for that

Regardless of which centre piece you have on this is as low as it goes.

Basically because of this

Which is a bit i liked about the tripod it locks the centre and unlocks it so you can spin it round with whatever you have on the mount.

This is what it comes with

And finally with the tripod set up like this and the camera mounted on the end i had no worries about letting go.

Was after a rainsleeve as i'm at a fundraising event the weekend and it could be wet, so i knew i has seen them before on the section at the top of the page that says shop then special offers.

Not thinking i just thought that ephotozine was a seperate site of srs for the pentax user group and bought one. it was only after the purchase had gone through that i thought, is that really srs? so i checked and duh no it aint, and to make matters worse i paid £8.49 which was supposed to be a special offer, SRS they are only £4.99.

Poll is just a bit of fun

Think this is the place to put this....Basically just bought one of these, 6 days to deliver from china and only £2.65 with free delivery. Works a treat, set up with my k-x auto focuses befor shot and can use to hold button in Bulb or pres to open then press again to close shutter.

Bargain........Click here.
Glover, how did you set it up to autofocus with a K-x before exposure?
in the [C Custom setting] menu ,number 11 set to 2 will allow AF with remote control, page 135 of your manual explains it.

i kept toying with the idea of upgrading mine to the wr lenses but no point really my cameras are not weather sealed so defeats the object, i think the optics are the same but you have the auto focus override on the wr lens to fine tune manually.

And on keeping on topic.

I do like the tamron 70-300 too, good lens for under £100 i paid £90 brand new.
The 50-200mm kit lens is also a pretty good lens to be honest, can be picked up relitively cheap.
