Did you use the same lens for #6 - 'cos there's no purple on the white there ?

Does it tie in with one lens ?

All of these were taken with the same lens, tamron 70-300, it seems to be almost as if it depends on the background as to wether it happens or not, i took some at a rugby match with the same lens and it happened around the outside of some parts of the refs white shirt.

In this picture if you look just to the left of his head where there is a white bit in the background there is a blueish glow

Do they look blueish to you?
I dont know what it is but i'm noticing this a bit, on a lot of pictures especially on white i get a blue glow on the edges. if i were editing jpegs i could understand it but these are from raw.

ahhh, Bird in Flight?

Was a lot quicker he was so had to zoom out a bit to get focue, fairly large crop on it so probably why he looks a little less sharp, i'll find a sharper one and put that on too

Not sure on the shutter speed with blur problem but you should be getting way more than 100 shots from your enloops. i've used them on my k-x for a bit now and reckon i'd probably get about 700 out of a fully charged set.

Try a fresh set of lithiums see if you still have the same problem, if you do then might be a camera fault. i'm off to a zoo later today i'll try a couple of shots at 1/125 see how they come out.

sounds like a good price for carbon fibre, i'm not familiar with that tripod but i believe slik are pretty good. nice one on the heads up.
