Thank you, #3 is actually shot through the window with the lens pressed up against the glass.

I participated in Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk (link) yesterday. It was a lot of fun, my first outing with a group. We went to downtown Memphis, rich in character and texture. Here are my favorites from the day:

C&C welcome.

I like the picture, but the two big circles hovering over their heads is a problem for me.

I played around with it for a bit and cropped it down to zero in on the larger area of flame. I liked the way it focused on viewing the embers through the fire.
Then again, I like the contrast of the black and white embers and the yellow flame, and cropping as such took most of that away.

Feel free to mark this comment as extremely unhelpful.

The red body against the cream background is very nice. As is DOF.

No comments for each photo? I was looking forward to reading some, because I have learned SO much from reading them over the weeks since I joined this forum. Are they just not posted yet or in another spot?:

OK, sorry, found them....gotta get used to this.

And this one I shot this morning before they disappeared...

I thought my son had a good comment on Lilly's pic - he said it looks like a "playground of candy".

Oh, just realized I can't enter either. Hopefully be fixed when I check back later.

What we came in close contact with at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida last week:

Would like to have the background a little more OOF, but these guys swing those necks around so fast, I finally decided to just put the cam on auto and shoot! By the way, it was really fun and informative - fed some giraffes and saw other "safari" animals, all right there in an amusement park. I have giraffe shots with a rollercoaster in the background!
