I remember using a 110 thingy when I was small, then I had a 35 compact, the make of which I have no idea.
When I got properly interested, I wanted an SLR. Mum couldn't afford a new one, so she bought an old SP 1000 from a friend with a 55mm and a fantastic 135mm Takumar. I was never disappointed with it.

Hi All,
I've just joined the DSLR gang. My last SLR was my old SP1000, which served me well. Naturally, I came back to Pentax and got a K50. I'm hoping to get some decent images up when I fathom out what the hell I'm doing.
