I have lost that tiny screw-in flash sync cap on my body and I want to buy a replacement. If anyone here's got one lying arround, please send me an offer on PM.

Cheers, Luka

I am more than satisfied with my 17-70 sigma, there is no doubt about that. As I said, it would stay at home for my girlfriend to use it as a walkaround lens, and I really wouldn't miss 50-70 range. I mostly use my 28, 35 and 50 primes, but don't always have time to change between lenses, so I want a fast alternative. 28-75 is not an option as I need to go wider from time to time.

Thank you again for useful thoughts and comments!

p.s. Stefan, I already have sigma 50-150! A great performer

Thanks so far for the comments!
Roy, I own a K-5 and K200d (as a backup). I've been thinking of replacing it for a while now. The sigma would stay at home as my girlfriend would use it, so I am going to buy one. Maybe I'll go for the tamron after all, as in Slovenia it costs 500 € less than DA*16-50... Plus, I can borrow my girlfriends 18-55 WR if I need sealing. Thank you so far!

If anyone has another opinion, please feel free to persuade me

Cheers, Luka

Hello!

I have been using my sigma 17-70/2.8-4.5 for a couple of years now and I am absolutely happy with it. I just need a faster general zoom, so I am thinking about swapping it for DA*16-50/2,8 or Tamron 17-50/2,8. I know both of them are highly praised for their IQ and I am also aware of weather sealing advantage on the DA*, but is it really worth the price difference over the tamron?
I am asking for an opinion as I want to make best of my money and don't want any regrets afterwards. I've heard about some problems with both of them (SDM failure on DA*?? and AF inaccuracy on tamron), so some advice would be appreciated.
Is buying a second hand DA*16-50 a safe option with SDM problems in mind, or is that just a case with DA*50-135? I have to think of my budget a little, but a good buy has a definite advantage...

Does anyone here have any experience with both of them?

Thank you for your help!

Cheers, Luka

Yes, with ISO 80 and a fast 1/8000 s shutter speed, wider apertures can be used even when there is lots of light on the scene.

Hello!

As the title says, I am after a mint/good condition pentax 100/2,8 macro lens. Ideally I would want the last WR version, but would settle with any from F series onwards.

Any potential sellers, please send me your offer via PM.

Cheers, Luka

I had a K200d for 2 years. Shot around 50.000 photos with it. Occasional rocket blower treatment did the job in most of the times. One time, I had some real tough stains on the sensor, so I bought Green Clean wet % Dry cleaning swabs. It does it's job quite nicely.

On my current K-5, I just blow the insides with the rocket blower from time to time and I haven't got any stain issues. (except the stain issues on my first K-5, which our distributor kindly replaced.)

Sorry to hear about the other package. I'm already enjoying the FA28. Nice piece of glass, I must say!
