I am in the process of obtaining a new body and wanted to confirm the additional 12 month warranty offered by Pentax Pro Centres. I spoke to WEX and the guy at customer services advised me that they only offer the standard manufacturers 12 month warranty. When I asked about the additional 12 months as a Pro Centre he told me they didn't. SRS on the other hand informed me that they do offer this extended warranty as a supplier of Pentax equipment. Have I been misinformed by WEX or is this a good reason to deal with SRS as the primary seller of cameras and lenses.
To add to this I did contact Ricoh UK to ask advice and was advised that in Europe the standard warranty is 2 years however in the UK retailers have found a way around this through legislation to give only a 12 month term. Has any other user recently come across this issue or is it a case of me being given wrong information?

Hi Roger, I personally really like both images, the second has amazing colours and your method of capture is technically brilliant. I love your first image and if high key portraits every became the fashion for spiders I think you have nailed it and become the Mr Bailey for arachnids

For me Lightroom is merely a collection of filters and the ability to adjust light which is not unique to the digital age. Contrary to belief even in the film era a image wasn't created from start to finish with a click of a shutter. Prior to automated development the photographers skill continued in the darkroom with years of experience of times, temperature and chemicals. Adding filters and dodging and burning skies all to create their personal style on an already well taken image. I for one prefer the convenience of my pc than my short and usually unsuccessful time in a makeshift dark room.
I feel privileged to have experienced both the film and digital era and enjoy looking at other members amazing images with their very own unique styles and while I understand stu62 I also feel we are now given tools to create unique images either by recording a moment in time as you see it or artistically creating your very own masterpiece.
ps don't be hard on me I may go quiet for another 10 years

Had the same problem Rob on a galaxy note. I have also had the odd glitch on windows 10 using MS Edge in the last day or so. As John pointed out when I did use chrome the site always did load faster and seemed more stable. The mobile issue has only started within the last 48 hours though and until then I had not had any issues.
