Lovely light, you chose the perfect time. Nice low viewpoints and plenty of the required foreground 'interest'. Looks like a bleak and wild place.

I've just got down from the giddy heights of Haytor Rocks on Dartmoor, and I bagged a fair few with the 14mm ... Seems to lend itself to that sort of environment, just like yours here. I settled on F13 for my 'hyperfocal' focusing ideal aperture ... Don't know why, I just like F13! What did you use here Steve?

Also, one small idea ... I'd try and correct the blue cast on some of your rocks, the bits in shadow, as I don't feel it mixes well with the overall warm tones.

I used F11 and F16, just getting to know the lens really.

I have to admit I hadn't noticed the blue cast, could be down to a grad ND filter I was using, I'll try a bit more PP on them when I've got time.

Thanks for looking and comments.

Got to love the DA 15 - such a compact Jewel.

Really nice set. #3 would be my pick - gray light and a nice diagonal through the frame. #7 a close runner up
