Hi. Lately I've been working more and more wiht MF lenses on my K10D and I'm noticing that the focus is off. I hadn't really noticed it before, but lately its quite apparent.
Do I have to send it to Pentax (and do I do that?) or is it something I can fix by myself?

Thanks

We could do the following.

Whoever wants to share their unused items can post here saying what he wants in return:
>Postage cost
>Trades
>Donation
>Take out the garbage for them...

Even lending if people are willing to do it.

I'm still building my collection so dont have much stuff laying around...
Another thing we could do, is trade. You get something in return and everyone gets to try something new

I've got a Kiron 2x TC to give away

If you saw the other post...
You'll remember that a colleague in the photo society had an MX and that was very bad shape. We couldn't get the light meter to work and it seems it occasionally malfunctioned. So I gave a pass on that one and kept searching ebay.
After checking the crumbling seals, I told this guy that I could do the sealings on his camera just for practice. He told me its not working, so not worth it and "do you want it for £15?"

Guess what...
DOH!
Now one must really go, I'll practice on the other and keep for parts.

LBA and CBA seem to be the only addictions where group therapy leads to even more addiction...

Shoooo temptation!

I'm trying to resist LBA and you want me to get CBA as well?

Lets see first how I get along with film.
Plus I have a Tamron 90mm on loan and I'm loving it. Now I'm really tempted to get a macro lens and money doesn't grow on trees

As I was saying in the other post, I ws looking for a MX and ended up with two. A crazy lucky bid, never thought I'd won, but I did

Good thing too cuz it just arrived and it is gorgeous.
The other one was very nice, no dents, no serious deterioration but some brassing.
This one (the one on the left) is even nicer, very litle marks anywhere.

But I can't keep them both, so one of them (guess which ) will be leaving.
I just bought some Ilford 400 BW and will be trying it out.
I might replace them light seals on both and put the one on the right for sale.

BTW, this also came in with the MX:

Got another MX btw... I never thought I'd get it cuz I bid and forgot, but I won... Now lets see which one is better.
Like buses, when you want one you have to wait forever and then a bunch come together. I also noticed some lower prices on MXs lately, I had seen MXs clearly not working going for £30+ and now some supposed to be working (condition?) went for less than that? Strange market behaviour.

Thanks.
I think I had already seen this. I talked with my father to see if he'd like to have it repaired, but he said there was no point spending so much money.
I kind like keeping it since this camera made pictures of ny childhood. But I'm not so sentimental to spend that money. Besides I got save it to work on saving the slides my father made with it for posterity.
